The Elusive Unicorn of Progress
Just when I thought I was getting closer to the finish line…
Below is a screenshot of Book 1 in its current state. The dark red is everything in desperate need of a structural edit. I tried to add more dimension to the subplot and just succeeded in making everything unwieldy and blergh. Dammit.
Proportionally, it might not look much, but the red covers a major two-year stretch in the protagonists life. And it’s a mess of half-curated scenes and dialogue snippets.
Arghhhh.
